Homecoming Parade 2021

We start lining up again at 5:45pm this year with step off at 6:30pm. Previous year's Baby Band was such a hit that we're inviting the kids to follow the alumni down University Ave again this year. For those young alumni parents out there who can’t play because they’re enjoying the evening with the wee ones along the side, here is your chance to introduce them to the fanfare and excitement of marching band. Bring toy instruments, real ones, pom poms, flags or whatever your kids would have fun with. Alumni parents who aren’t marching are welcome to march with their children, teaching them the joys of music along the parade route. Strollers are also perfectly acceptable for those babies still finding their marching legs.

If you need to borrow an instrument - please reach out to homecoming@skiumah.org. Instruments are available on a first come first serve basis.

A car will be provided behind the band as well for those who may need assistance along the parade route.

After the parade, all are welcome to social at Sally's in Stadium Village. Cash bar only.

Please note that we will be follwing CDC and the University of Minnesota's guidelines as far as the COVID-19 Pandemic is concerned. You are welcome to wear masks if you wish to do so but the events should be attended at your own comfort/risk level.
